Bi-yearly update

Ok, yes it's a bi-yearly update.... I know I know I know.... I need to be more up to date. As most of you know Joanne and I are going through the adoption process. In doing so we had to create a scrapbook about us. Well here it is....

I'll try to do better to keep this updated... Add some comments or let me know if you read this.

Cuise in 5 Days

Well, we will be on a boat in 5 days!!!!!! We are very very very excited. The packing has begun and I think we will have quite a few bags. We will be gone for 10 days and we will be going through many different climates, so I think the entire closet is going to come with us.

Yesterday was our Thanksgiving with Joanne's family. (Yes we know it's a bit late) It was a nice day. We had dinner at our house, since mom has decided that our home works best for large family gatherings. I made a Ceasar salad, homemade noodles, a mountain of mashed potatoes, rolls, an apple pie and some apple cider. Mom and Amber provided the stuffing, turkey, gravy, green been casserole, and a pecan pie. Needless to say we could have invited 20 people and had enough food.

This weekend we received some fire wood, it really makes a nice atmosphere in the house when the fire is going. We're really starting to feel at home in the new house, I look forward to many more holidays in the house.

There was a point yesterday that I felt a very happy feeling and I wished that I could freeze time. Everyone in the family had a full stomach and we were watching football on tv, the fire was going and my mom was sitting on the floor and laughing while playing with my niece and nephew. Those are the moments I live for....a snapshot in my mind I will never forget.
